Wilbur Karl Leach,
40 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Monday July 12, 2010
at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center, Atlantic City, NJ. He was
born in Trenton, NJ, he lived in Ewing, NJ before moving to Little
Egg Harbor in 2002. He was a graduate of Pennsbury H.S. in Falls
Twp., PA and was a proud member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters
Union Local #9. Karl enjoyed traveling, fishing, quad riding, and
music but most of all Karl enjoyed just spending time with his family.
Karl was an absolute wonderful husband and father, and would do
anything he could to help anyone.
He is survived by his loving wife Amy Leach, sons Walter, Dylan,
and Kyle, daughters Jocelyn and Ashley, father Walter Leach, mother
Ruby Eggert-Goehrig, step father John Goehrig, step-mother Cynthia
Leach, sister Judith Campbell and husband Troy as well as many other
friends and family.

| Robert Thurston,
73 of Tuckerton, NJ passed away on Monday July 12, 2010 at Southern
Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin. Born in Avington, Mass., he lived
in Atlantic City, Nashville, West Creek, and Barnegat before moving
to Tuckerton. He was a member of the Beach Haven Moose Lodge, the
Tuckerton Redman Lodge, the Arbor Day Foundation and Mystic Collectables.
He was predeceased by his wife Sandra in 2000. He is survived by
his sons Daniel Thurston (Aimee), Charles Thurston (Danielle), and
Keith Wells, daughters Sandra Wells, Rebecca Wells, and Pamela Graham,
18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

(Bette) Wetmore, passed away peacefully July 9th
at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin. Born on July 17,
1927 in Bound Brook, NJ, Mrs. Wetmore was a resident of Summerville
At Stafford, Manahawkin, and formerly of Forked River and Mendham,
NJ. Previously, she had lived in Havana, Cuba, Ireland, Wales, England,
Tokyo, Japan, and Singapore. She was a member of the Forked River
Presbyterian Church.
She was predeceased by her parents Joseph Sheridan and Anthony and
Elizabeth Florio and her husband of 50 years, Edwin D. Wetmore Jr..
She is survived by her sons Gordon, of Manahawkin, David (Carolyn),
San Ramon, California, and Dean(Gail), Beach Haven Terrace. Also
grandchildren Andrew Wetmore, Laura Wetmore, Kristen McRitchie,
Dustin Wetmore, Amanda Moore, Jeremy Wetmore, and Dean Winkelried,
also Great Grandchildren Ryan and Samantha Wetmore and Genna Lynn
and Aquina Moore.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday July 14, 2010 at 9am
at the funeral home followed by Interment at Brig. General William
C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. Viewing hours will
be on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm and Wednesday morning from 8:30-9am

Dempsey 86 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away
on Wednesday July 7, 2010 at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin.
Born in Philadelphia, PA she was a lifelong resident of South Jersey.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward Dempsey in 2002, daughter
Theresa Foreman and sister Elizabeth Sheckelton.
She is survived by her sons Edward J. Dempsey Jr. and wife Marilyn
of Little Egg Harbor, Harvey A. Rheiner and wife Michelle of Little
Egg Harbor and William Wiess and wife Ann of Pennsylvania, daughters
Joan Allen of New Gretna, and Denise Cramer and husband Greg of
New Gretna, son-in-law Thomas Foreman of Philadelphia, PA, and longtime
companion Albert Rheiner. She is also survived by sister Mary Templeton
of Egg Harbor Twp., 27 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and
1 great great grandchild.
Viewing will be held on Monday July 12, 2010 from 9:30am to 10:45am
at St. Theresa’s R.C. Church, 450 Radio Rd. Little Egg Harbor,
NJ followed by a Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00am. Burial will
take place at Miller Cemetery, New Gretna. Arrangements under the
care of Maxwell Funeral Home, Little Egg Harbor.

Lyons, 63 of Barnegat Light, NJ, passed away on
June 10, 2010 at Deborah Hospital, Browns Mills, NJ. Born in Philadelphia,
PA, he lived in Broomall, PA before moving to Barnegat Light over
30 years ago.
He was a Salesman for Kubel’s Too in Brighton Beach, NJ.
Walter loved music, fine wine and the company of good friends.
He is survived by his sister Maureen Lyons Scott (John P.) of Venice,
FL, Niece Cassandra Scott West (Carey L.) , and numerous cousins
and friends.
A Celebration of his life will be held on Monday June 21, 2010 at
11:00am at the Barnegat Lighthouse on Long Beach Island.

Force, 85, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday,
6/3/2010. He was born on 3/25/25 in Reaville, NJ, graduated from
Flemington H.S. in 1943. Retired from Prudential Insurance as a
MDRT Sales Agent after 32 years in the Somerville & Flemington
offices. Resident of Sergeantsville, NJ for 40 years before moving
to Manahawkin, NJ in 1989.
Bob was a giving person and volunteer in every sense of the word,
being a 4-H leader, Boy Scout Leader, little league coach, past
President of the Sergeantsville Volunteer Fire Co., Trustee at the
Sergeantsville Methodist Church. Member of the Manahawkin Methodist
Church and the Church Administrative Council, Head of the Mens Ministry.
Member of the Southern Chapter of Habitat for Humanity, where he
worked daily up until March of 2010. Member of the Stafford Twp.
Volunteer Fire Dept. He was awarded the "Key to Stafford Twp."
for his volunteering and never expecting anything in return.
He is predeceased by his daughter, Gale Force McNally. He is survived
by his wife of 64 years, Barbara (Cronce) Force, his son, Robert
Force, his sister, Alberta (Force) Schuetz. His passion and love
were his five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday June 8,2010 at 11:00am
at the Manahawkin United Methodist Church, Manahawkin,NJ. Cremation
will be private.

86 of Lakewood, NJ passed away on Wednesday May 26, 2010 at Arcadia
Nursing Home, Little Egg Harbor. Born in Erie, PA, she lived in
Old Bridge, NJ and North Brunswick, NJ before moving to Lakewood
13 years ago. She was a member of St. Anthony Claret Church in Lakewood,
NJ and she worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant at Summer Hill
Nursing Home in Old Bridge. Myra enjoyed trips to Atlantic City
and playing bingo and she loved her family.
She was predeceased by her husband William Trapmann in 1995.
She is survived by her sons Bill Trapmann and John Trapmann and
daughters Susan Edwards, Christine Onesto, Mary Arnout, and Linda
Kaeser, sisters Frances and Mary, 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Marjorie Rose-Aldrich
(nee Sutton), 70 of New Gretna, NJ passed away at home on Tuesday
May 25, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. She worked for
Atlantic City Medical Center in Pomona for 25 years.
She is survived by her daughter Sharon Abbott (Todd Plump), sons
Larry Rose (Bonnie), and Ken Rose (April) and sister Edna Borton,
brother Robert Sutton (Joyce) grandchildren Shanna Abbott, Howard
Abbott, Jacqulyn Rose, Emily Rose, Eric Dolch, Kyle Dolch, Connie
Dooner, Michael Guariglia, and Celena Bastian and six great grandchildren
and several nieces.

| Raymond Meade
Beyer, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, died suddenly on
Thursday, May 21, 2010, at Southern Ocean County Hospital. He was
67 years old. Raymond had a long career in corporate administration
with NY Telephone, Johnson & Johnson, Sara Lee Corporation,
Sunshine Biscuits, and Marcal Paper Mills from which he retired
in 2003 as Director of Sales Operations. Mr. Beyer, a former resident
of East Brunswick, NJ; Winston-Salem, NC; New Canaan, CT and Lewiston,
NY, was born in Niagara Falls, NY and graduated cum laude from Niagara
University in 1964 with a degree in Economics. Raymond is survived
by Marie O’Neill Beyer, his beloved wife of 38 years; his
loving children, Sean and Michelle; a precious granddaughter, Jadyn;
and by his brother and sister-in-law, Timothy & Patricia Beyer
of Denver, NC. A memorial service will be planned for a later date.

Association would be appreciated.

Price, 75 of Manahawkin, NJ, died on May 18, 2010
at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin, NJ.
Born in Philadelphia, Pa she lived there until moving here 65 years
ago. She was a member of Cedar Run Assembly Of God Church, Cedar
Run, NJ. She was the former Secretary, Treasurer and Score Keeper
at Stafford Little League. Founder of Head Start Program, Manahawkin,
director of Ocean Inc., founder and director of Day Care 100 in
West Creek, and Southern Ocean County Hospital Auxiliary member.
Gertrude is survived by her son John M. Price (Sheryl) of New Gretna,
daughter Lorraine Haines (Jay) of Manahawkin. Sisters Lorraine Fredrickson
of Manahawkin and Dolores Svelling of Barnegat Light. Also surviving
are her 6 grandchildren; Jeremy, Jonathan, Julianne, Moorea, Bethany,
and Ashley. 4 Great Grandchildren; Corrine , Aubrey, Leanna, and
Daijah.
A Funeral Service will be offered on Friday May 21, 2010 at 11:00am
at the funeral home followed by Interment at Greenwood Cemetery,

83 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Wednesday May 12, 2010
at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin. She was born, raised,
and lived in Manhattan, NY, she moved to Central Valley, NY before
finally moving to Little Egg Harbor in 2002. She was a member of
St. Theresa’s Church, Little Egg Harbor and she belonged to
the Sunrise Bay Women’s Club.
She was predeceased by her son Robby Meyer and brother Edward Cox.
She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Bob Meyer, daughter
Janice Cardiello and husband Patrick of AZ, and granddaughters Lauren
Ann and Jeanine Marie.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday May 17, 2010 at 9:30 am at
St. Theresa’s Church, Little Egg Harbor. Viewing hours will

Charles John McDonald,
72 of Tuckerton, NJ passed away on Tuesday May 11, 2010 at Southern
Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin. He was born, raised, and lived
in Philadelphia, PA before moving to Willow Grove, PA and finally
to Tuckerton, NJ 8 years ago. He was an Army Veteran and a member
of the American Legion, he was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran
Church, and was the owner of Mickey’s Steer and Beer in Glenside,
PA. He enjoyed fishing, boating, playing Shuffleboard, and spending
time on his deck with friends and family admiring the bay through
all four seasons.
He was predeceased by his wife Gloria T. McDonald in 1995.
He is survived by his sons Charles J. “Mickey” McDonald
(Susan) of Pipersville, PA and Scott P. McDonald (Lisa) of Phoenix,
AZ, his Loving Companion Sue Costanzo, brothers Jack McDonald of
West Palm Beach FL, Jim McDonald of Strathmere, NJ, and Bernie McDonald
of St. Petersburg, FL and grandchildren Ryan, Shayne, Patrick, Bridget,
Bailey, Zoe, and Philip.
