Anne "Nancy" Darby

Anne “Nancy” Darby (75) of Tuckerton, NJ sadly passed away on July 9th 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Tuckerton in 1972 where she settled, worked and raised her family. Nancy spent years working as a banker earning her way to District Manager. After thirty years in the industry she took her talents and expertise to Viking Yacht Company where she dedicated many years of loyal service in the Human Resources Department. Nancy truly loved her time spent with the Viking Yacht family, making it a very difficult decision to finally retire in 2021. Nancy devoted her life to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed making and designing jewelry, was an avid gardener, loved wildlife, being outside, and loved the smell of rain. Nancy instilled the importance of family, hard work and determination to all. She could regularly be seen with her Sudoku puzzle at one of her two favorite local eateries, The Dynasty Diner and Naples Pizzeria.

Nancy was predeceased by her brother Joseph Darby and her sister Teresa Steward.

She leaves behind her loving children: Michael Morrin (Toni), Bernadette Herbert (Vince), Christine Sands-Bennett (Dave), John Morrin (Jen), Danny Morrin (Marci); eight grandchildren: Katie (Dan), Ali (Mike), Logan, John, Clayton, Leah, Julia and Mikey; two great grandchildren: Tripp and Josie; two sisters: Mary Darby and Bernadette Strain (Vincent); two brothers: Jerry Darby (Susan) and Frank Darby; a brother in-law, Barry Steward; a sister in-law, Barbara Darby, and many nieces and nephews. Nancy will be deeply missed by her family and everyone that knew her.

Visitation will be held on Thursday July 16th from 11am-3pm with a service at 2:30pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
