Barbara F. Schmutz

Barbara F. Schmutz, 72 of New Gretna, NJ passed away on Sunday January 29^th, 2023. Barbara was born in Philadelphia, PA and was a lifetime resident of New Gretna, NJ. Barbara owned the Gulf Gas Station in New Gretna for many years and retired in 2000. She loved animals and owned her own horses, dogs and even a zebra. She enjoyed travelling, cross stitch, doing ceramics and was an overall artistic person. She was an avid NASCAR fan who rooted for Jeff Burton and Jeff Gordon.  

Barbara was predeceased by her parents Walter and Margaret Roberts, her husband Joseph Schmutz and her brother Robert Roberts.  

She is survived by her loving son Joseph Schmutz and his fiancé Jennifer of New Gretna, NJ, her grandson Aiden, and her childhood friend Ruthann McSwain.  

Cremation will be private.
