Barry Biederman

Barry Biederman, 66 of Osborn Island, NJ passed away on Sunday, March 19th, 2023 after a long battle with Adrenal cancer. 

Born, October 16, 1956, Barry grew up in New Providence, NJ. He spent many years living in Flemington and Lawrenceville, NJ before retiring to Little Egg Harbor 4 years ago. 

Barry worked in sales and marketing and was a member of the Osborn Island Residence Association. Barry spent his whole life on the waters of Tuckerton and loved boating, fishing, clamming and jet skiing. He was a dedicated New York sports fan and loved college basketball. He achieved a life long goal of retiring on the Bay at a home which he lovingly called Spindrift. He loved watching sunsets from his porch, taking boat trips and recently enjoyed daily bird watching. He was happiest spending quality time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. 

Barry was predeceased by his parents George and Gladys Biederman and his daughter Catherine Biederman. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years Donna Biederman, children Julie Katz of Westfield, NJ and Andrew Biederman and wife Christina of Bordentown, NJ, cherished step-daughters Diana Caraccio and fiancé Randy Cavanaugh of Ewing, NJ and Christina Padalino and husband Vince of Bordentown, NJ; grandchildren Lane Katz, Samael Cavanaugh, Gio Padalino and another Biederman on the way; his sister, Linda Liebiedz and husband Bill and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition, a group of best friends who skied together out West every year for more than 40 years. 

Visitation will be held on Friday March 24th, 2023 from 4-8pm and Saturday March 25th, 2023 from 9-9:45am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd. Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. A Funeral Service will follow at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at 10am at 500 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ACC C.U.R.E. at Acccure.org to extend the research and awareness of Adrenal Cortical Carcinoma.
