Chloe Belle Aguiling Harder, age 97, of Tuckerton, NJ, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin, NJ.

Chloe Belle was born in Jaro, Iloilo, Philippines, in 1923. She attended the prestigious Iloilo Preparatory School where she excelled in the arts and humanities. She was a gifted musician and a creative multi-media artist. Chloe Belle graduated from Centro Escolar University in Manila, Philippines, with a B.S. in Education, with a double major in Music and Home Economics. After graduating from university, she was a well-received, up-and-coming concert pianist in Manila until it was time to start a family. Chloe Belle came to the United States in 1967 with her husband and five children. She lived in Elizabeth, NJ, Barnegat, NJ, and Edison, NJ, before moving to Tuckerton, NJ. She was a music teacher in the Elizabeth public school system, a preschool teacher in the Head Start Program in West Creek, NJ, and a highly regarded piano teacher to her private students. Chloe Belle was the beloved wife of Benjamin M. Harder, a decorated WWII hero who served as a U.S. Army Intelligence officer directly under Gen. Douglas McArthur. He was a Vice President of the Manufacturing Division of Marsman Pharmaceutical Company. Together they raised and were proud of their five children. After his passing, she became a doting and proud grandmother to seven, and great-grandmother to thirteen. She was a beloved relative and friend to so many.

Daniel) of Phoenixville, PA; Rosen Harder of Tuckerton, NJ; Eleonor Harder (husband David Bresslour) of Randolph, NJ; Benjamin Harder Jr. of Levittown, PA; and Arthur Noel Harder (wife Jacqueline) of Mayetta, NJ.
