Christopher Donald Tierney Sr.

Christopher Donald Tierney Sr., 64, of Fort Myers Beach, FL passed away on Saturday January 17,2026. Born in Teaneck, NJ Christopher grew up in Edgewater NJ. Christopher was the youngest of 5 siblings. Christopher got married in 1988 and eventually moved to Waretown NJ where he raised 2 kids, his son Chris Jr and Melissa. He had many hobbies including riding and racing motocross. As Christopher got older, he found himself enjoying a cold Bud Light and riding his Harley. Christopher spent his entire life as a Master automobile Technician. He has worked for several manufacturers, and the last 25 years he spent with Honda. Christopher retired in 2023 as a Honda master Technician and moved to Fort Meyers Beach, Florida.

Christopher was predeceased by his parents Donald and Rose Tierney, brothers David, Bobby and Paul Tierney, and sister Anne Tierney.

He is survived by his son Christopher Tierney and wife Megan of Little Egg Harbor, NJ and daughter Melissa Tierney and fiancé Kyle Gillespie of Davenport, IA. Also surviving are his grandchildren Connor, Lakyn, Cassidy, Carson, and Parker.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday February 8th, 2026 from 1-3p.m. at Maxwell Funeral Home, 160 Mathistown Rd, Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
