Claire Smith

Claire Smith, 88 of Tuckerton, NJ passed away on Tuesday June 30, 2015 at Southern Ocean Medical Center surrounded by family. She was born on the Jillson Farm and has been a lifetime Little Egg Harbor and Tuckerton resident. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Parkertown and was the original Board Secretary for Southern Regional High School. She was the loving Matriarch of her family and enjoyed gardening and recording her family genealogy.
Claire was predeceased by her beloved husband Erwin Smith in 2008, son Gary Smith and brother Alfred Jillson.
She is survived by her loving daughter Jeannie Dunlap (Ivan) of Gettysburg, brothers Arthur Jillson and wife Dutchie, Alvin Jillson and wife Patty, Allen Jillson and Dave Jillson and wife Anne Marie, grandchildren Gregory Fennimore and wife Dina, Donald Fennimore and wife Shirley and Meghan Delport and husband Paul, great grandchildren Timmy, Kyle, Bronte', Callie, Brandon, Eddie, Gregory Jr., and Princessa, daughter-in-law Jackie Smith as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday July 6, 2015 from 11am until 12noon at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. A graveside service will follow at 1:30pm at Brig. Gen Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
