Daniel E. Tidswell Jr., 82, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, passed away on Thursday April 16,2026. Born in Mount Holly, NJ, Daniel lived in Austin, TX, for 20 years and spent time living in Chatsworth, NJ, and Cedar Bonnet Island, NJ, before settling into Little Egg Harbor 40 years ago. Daniel worked in carpentry and enjoyed fishing, boating, and playing pool. He was happiest spending afternoons playing games of backgammon with his wife, chess with his sons, and dominoes with his daughters.

Daniel was predeceased by his parents Daniel E. Tidswell Sr. and Eleanor R. Tidswell, and granddaughter Desiree.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years Lillian Borek, children Danelle Bostrom, Daniel Tidswell, Nicole Borek-Beaulieu and husband Rich, Lisa Borek, Edward Borek III, Sean Tidswell and partner Kate Dennis and Shannon Tidswell and fiancé Shawn Conrad. Also surviving are his grandchildren Savannah, Braxton, Isabella, Aiden, Mason, Layla, and Lincoln.

Cremation will be private.
