Dorothy Gelmetti, 93 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Saturday September 28th, 2024. Dorothy was born and raised in Camden, NJ and spent time living in Stratford, Danbury and Fairfield, CT before settling in Little Egg Harbor in 1987. Dorothy attended Camden Catholic School and went on to work as an educator for Norwalk School District in CT and as a Librarian for Southern Regional High School in Manahawkin. She was a member of St. Theresa’s Church in Little Egg Harbor and the St. Thomas Women’s Guild in Fairfield, CT. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and being with her family.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Ricco Gelmetti, her brother and 4 sisters.

She is survived by her loving children Richard Gelmetti and wife Lisa of Westfield, NJ, Chris Carlisi and husband Peter of Moreau, NY, Robert Gelmetti and wife Barbara of Cheshire, CT, Patrick Gelmetti of Alexandria, VA and John Gelmetti and wife Jaqueline of Shelton, CT, 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday October 4th, 2024 at 11am at St. Theresa’s R.C. Church 450 Radio Rd. Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Burial will be held on Saturday October 5th, 2024 at 12pm in St Thomas Cemetery, Fairfield, CT.
