Dorothy E Volante

Dorothy Volante, 93 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at Seacrest Nursing Home on Friday August 14, 2026. Dorothy was born in Kenilworth, NJ and spent most of her life in Harrison, NJ until moving to Little Egg Harbor where she bought her house in February 1977. She worked for Cramer’s Fruit Stand until he passed away and she went to work for Seacrest Nursing Home where she worked as a laundry aide until her retirement. Dorothy was one of four children; 2 sisters, Kathleen and Helen, and her 1 brother George. She was the last surviving child of her parents, George and Sadie Burns.

Dorothy had 2 children, Darlene and Alfred. She was predeceased by her daughter Darlene and grandson David. She is survived by her loving son Alfred Curcione, her grandchildren Kimberly and Frankie and her great-grandchildren Vincent, Anthony and Annmarie.

Cremation and services will be held privately.
