Edward J Garland

Edward J. Garland, 92 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Tuesday July 7th, 2026. Edward was born in Jersey City, NJ and spent time living in Hoboken, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor 26 years ago. Edward proudly served out nation in the United States National Guard and went on to work as a Checker for the International Longshoreman Association. He enjoyed travelling, watching all kinds of sports, watching comedy and rooting for the Notre Dame football team.

Edward was predeceased by his parents John and Louise Garland, brothers Raymond, John and James Garland, sister Evelyn Riccardi and his 3 dogs Brandy, Maeve and Molly.

He is survived by his beloved wife Blanche of 72 years, son Edward Garland and wife Cristina of Miami, FL, daughter Cynthia Garland of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, sister-in-law Joan Varela and many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will take place on Friday July 10th, 2026 at 11am in Ocean County Memorial Park Waretown 280 Wells Mills Rd. Waretown, NJ 08758.
