Eleanor M Murray

Eleanor M. Murray, 92, of Little Egg Harbor NJ, passed away on Saturday August 23,2025. Born in Newark, NJ, Eleanor spent time living in Lyndhurst, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor in 1991, and later to Hillsborough, NJ. Eleanor was a member of St. Theresa’s Church, the Mystic Shores Social Club and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed going to parties at Mystic Shores, going to Atlantic City, and doing arts and crafts. She also enjoyed seeing and listening to Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons.

Eleanor was predeceased by her parents Albert and Sophie Prignano, husband James R. Murray in 1998, brother Louis Prignano, and sister Cecelia Caputo.

She is survived by her loving daughters Sharon Williamson (John) of Clifton, NJ, Susan Brozas (Bill) of Hillsborough, NJ, and Eileen Mango (Anthony) of Little Egg Harbor. Also surviving are her grandchildren Jordan and James Brozas.

Visitation will be held on Thursday August 28, 2025 from 8:30-10:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home, 160 Mathistown Rd, Little Egg Harbor, NJ, 08087. A Funeral Mass will also be on Thursday at 11am at St. Theresa’s Church, 450 Radio Rd, Little Egg Harbor, NJ, 08087. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manahawkin, NJ.
