Esther L. Berdini, 87 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Thursday July 14th, 2022. Esther was born and raised in Camden, NJ and lived in Woodlynne, NJ, Turnersville, NJ, Rockville, MD and Frederick, MD before moving to Little Egg Harbor in 2010.  Esther worked as a graphic designer, secretary and executive assistant for Marriott International HQ in Bethesda. Esther and her husband, Joseph, would become active church members wherever they lived. They were married at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church in Camden, NJ and attended St. Peter and Paul R.C. Church in Turnersville, NJ, St. Francis of Assisi Church in Derwood, MD, St. Patrick’s R.C. Church -Norbeck in Rockville, MD, St. Timothy R.C. Church in Walkersville, MD and St. Theresa’s R. C. Church, Little Egg Harbor, NJ. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary Gemstones and first lady to the Past Grand Knight, Joe Berdini Jr. Esther participated in and organized various church functions. She ran the first America Needs Fatima Rally at St. Theresa’s Church, was a liturgical reader, and for a new activity started and ran the bingo program. During holiday parties and family weddings you would always see a smile on Esther and Joe’s faces as they jitterbugged and danced the night away. They were often referred to as “being the life of the party,” She also enjoyed bowling, modeling, sewing, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She was an exemplary mother who always put her children first and was always learning new ways to assist by providing additional  financial support for their family through network marketing companies such as: B Line Clothing, Herbalife, Sarah Coventry Jewelry, Best Line Cleaning Supplies, Tupperware, Pampered Chef and Avon. Joseph and Esther always put God first and lived their lives devoted to their love and family.  

Esther is predeceased by her parents Peter and Julia Lombardi and her beloved husband Joseph Berdini Jr.  

Esther is survived by her loving children Kevin Berdini of New York City, NY and Little Egg Harbor, NJ, Brenda Berdini Norris and significant other Thomas Gardner, of Frederick and Glen Bernie MD, Stephanie Finkenstaedt and husband Frederick (Rick) of Frederick, MD, and Craig Berdini and wife Brenna of Easton, PA, grandchildren Krystal and husband Royal, Samantha, David, Kaitlyn, Sienna and Joseph, great granddaughter Avery as well as many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Viewing hours will be on Tuesday July 19th, 2022 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm and on Wednesday from 9:30am to 10:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.  A Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday July 20th, 2022 at 11am at St. Theresa’s Church, 450 Radio Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087 followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.
