Frank Boris Jr. 83 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday September 1, 2021. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he lived in Edison, NJ before retiring to Little Egg Harbor 16 years ago. Frank was a US Army Veteran and member of American Legion Post 493 in Little Egg Harbor. He was a communicant of St. Theresa’s Church in Little Egg Harbor and worked as a salesman for Bloomingdale’s Furniture in Fairlawn, NJ where he won numerous awards for being the best salesman. Frank was gregarious and could talk to anyone or anything. He loved children and would always comment how cute they were. Ever caring, protective and gentle with those he loved, Frank was also always a gentleman to all. He enjoyed playing golf, reading about history, being with his family at the beach and on holidays, and watching baseball. He cheered for the NY Yankees especially when playing against their arch rival, the Boston Red Sox.
Frank was predeceased by his parents Frank and Anna Boris and his wife Patricia.
He is survived by his loving wife Jill DiMeglio-Boris of Little Egg Harbor, son Frank Boris and wife Karen of PA, daughters Elizabeth Gulotta and husband J.R. of Edison, NJ, Suzanne Murphy and husband Michael of Massapequa Park, NY and Jennifer Kole and husband John Cassar of Princeton, NJ, step-son Ryan DiMeglio of Pt. Pleasant, NJ, sister Barbara DeMartino of Columbus, NJ, grandchildren Eric, Kevin, Anthony (Samantha), Nicholas, Lindsay, Michele, Elizabeth, Natalie, Michael, Amanda, Emily and Olivia and great grandchildren Santino and Sienna.
Visitation will be held on Friday September 3, 2021 from 3pm to 6pm and Saturday September 4th from 8:30am to 9:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10:00am at St. Theresa’s R. C. Church 450 Radio Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087 followed by interment at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.
