George F. Currie Jr.

George F. Currie Jr., 88 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on January 28, 2023. Born in Jersey City, NJ, George spent time in Bayonne, Lakewood, and Rahway for 30 years before moving to Little Egg Harbor, NJ over 20 years ago. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Rahway, NJ, and loved to fish and hunt.

George is predeceased by his wife Mary, his parents George F. Sr. and Helen, and siblings Florence, Helen, and Thomas.

He is survived by his daughter Kathleen Currie and husband Paul Dioguardi of Englishtown, NJ, son George F. Currie lll of North Carolina, son Joseph Currie and wife Shelley of Jackson, NJ, grand children Colleen Ferenchak of Rahway, NJ, Amanda Currie of Connecticut, Patricia Currie of Connecticut, Tommy Currie of Connecticut, Shannon Currie of Maine, Katherine Werhan and husband Ben of Pennsylvania, and great grand children Izzy and Maggie.

Cremation will be private.
