James L. Brinson Jr.

James Leo Brinson Jr., 60 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Monday April 5, 2021.  Born in Philadelphia, PA he lived on Long Beach Island before moving to Little Egg Harbor 25 years ago.  James worked as a Repairman for NJ Transit in Egg Harbor Township.  He enjoyed painting and was very passionate about cooking.  He was an avid sports fan of all the Philadelphia sports teams and he enjoyed playing golf.

James was predeceased by his parents James and Mary Brinson, brother-in-law John Payne, nephew Zack Payne and mother-in-law Monica Camley.

He is survived by his loving wife Renee’ Brinson, daughter Katie Brinson of Little Egg Harbor, son Jimmy Dehoratiis of Philadelphia, sister Donna Payne of Philadelphia, sister-in-law Kim and Howard Taylor, nieces Sam and Melissa, nephews John and Howie and grandchildren Jimmy and Dylan.

Visitation will be held on Friday April 9, 2021 from 2-5pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.

Please note, due to COVID-19 the funeral home is operating at 50% capacity as per NJ executive order.  All visitors must wear a face mask over their mouth and nose inside the funeral home at all times.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the family where a charity will be established at a later date.
