Jerome St. John

Jerome St. John, 81, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Seacrest Villages Nursing Home with his loving family by his side. Born in Norwalk, CT, he was the son of the late Edward and Clara (Gantnier) St. John.
After serving his country honorably in the Unites States Army, Mr St. John moved to Manville, NJ where he began a long and proud career as a union bricklayer/mason. He was a communicant of St Theresa's Catholic Church in Little Egg Harbor, a member of the American Legion and the National Rifle Association. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann (Cunningham), his 2 beloved daughters, Sara Kudile and husband Steve of Elkton, MD, and Ann St. John of Philipsburg, NJ. He is also survived by his cherished grandson Ryan Kudile. He is also survived by his siters, Marion Horberg of Somerset, NJ and Veronica Pirone of Florida, as well as by his brother and sister in law, Judy (Cunningham) and Nick Burke of West Trenton, NJ and by his dear friends, Gus MacNeil, Harry Golding, Tom Sheenan and Gene Murray.
A viewing will be held on Friday, July 24, 2015 from 4:00-7:00 PM and on Saturday, July 25 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd, Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. A mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 25 at 11:00 AM at St Theresa Catholic Church, 450 Radio Rd, Little Egg Harbor, NJ. All other arrangements are private.
