Jessie Charshafian

Jessie Charshafian, 62 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Sunday October 14, 2018.  Born in Jersey City, NJ she lived in Woodridge, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor 4 years ago.  Jessie attended Calvary Baptist Church in Parkertown and was a supporter of the Christians United for Israel.
She loved to take care of people and always would challenge those around her on their thoughts and beliefs so they could see things from a Biblical point of view and get her friends interested to go to church or school, activities that would improve their quality of life and she always had an ability to shine a light on any situation and turn things around for the better for everyone she loved and was always generous to others. In Jessie's younger years, she had parents who got divorced and was left to live with just her mom and sister. The family struggled for awhile but made many fun memories together.  Jessie's lifelong dream was to become a court reporter. She went to college for 2 years, then instead married Angelo Giambona and they started a bakery together, had one child, Francesca Giambona, Jessie remarried 2 years later to Tony Barbaruldt, unfortunately he passed away 2 weeks later, but his niece Kara continues his legacy, she recently opened Kara's Cakes in Franklin Lake. After the passing Jessie waitressed for 5 years, then she met her third husband John Charshafian, they had many great years together, at that time she worked 2 years at a nursing home, then went on to medical assistant school but did not pursue, instead Jessie decided to get more involved at church, preaching, teaching and caring for others in need and making a lot of difference in people's lives, she truly was God's Angel of light. When Jessie was on vacation with John the dolphins loved to kiss her, she would make them smile and her family smile when she saw the pictures. Jessie also took a vacation with Francie to South Miami to visit the clubs and newer restaurants to have some fun in the sun and enjoy quality time with her daughter, who she loved the most, they even spoke in a secret language of Latin at certain times.  Jessie is someone you could never forget, she will be dearly loved forever and missed by many. Jessie was a true warrior, for God, for people and for Our Country in general. A few of Jessie's favorite things were Oatmeal for breakfast, tuna for lunch, hummus for snack, and pizza or homemade mix bean soup for dinner. Jessie's favorite place to shop was Kmart, Walmart, and thrift stores. Jessie's favorite TV shows were TCM, The Golden Girls, Joel Osteen and Joyce Myer on 700 Club. Jessie had several favorite author's that she read on a daily basis, one being ""If Democrats Had Brains they would be Republicans."" and ""Daily Hinds Feet"".
She is survived by her loving daughter Francesca Giambona of Bergenfield, NJ, sisters Carol Rosner, Valerie King and Lori Wallis, nieces Marion, Jean, Emily, Mary, Crystal and Ashley and nephew Christopher.
