Joan Pirylis

Joan Pirylis, 62 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home surrounded by her family on Saturday September 10, 2016 after a long, brave battle with cervical cancer. Joan was born in Bermuda and lived in Tabernacle, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor 24 years ago. Joan was a Custodian at Pinelands High School for 6 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and gardening.
She was predeceased by her parents Paul and Joan Walker, Husband Kenneth Pirylis and daughter Angelina Pirylis.
She is survived by her partner of 8 years, Eugene Laskoski of Little Egg Harbor, loving children Lisa Ford (Tom) of Little Egg Harbor, Steven Pirylis of Little Egg Harbor and Paul Pirylis of Bass River Twp., sister Patricia Weinisch (Richard) of Burlington Twp., grandchildren Thompson, Darby, Nicholas, Logan and Coalton and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday September 15, 2016 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd. Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Cremation will be private.
