John Richard Karakashian Jr.

John Richard Karakashian, Jr., 76 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026. Born in Philadelphia, PA., “Rich” grew up in Cinnaminson, NJ and lived in Mount Laurel, NJ and Waretown, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor 3 years ago. Rich worked in the flooring business for his father’s company, Karakashian Carpets, in Mount Laurel, NJ. He was a faithful believer in God with a big heart and a generous spirit. He also had a quirky sense of humor and was very passionate about food. He enjoyed cooking, being out in nature, and bird watching.

Rich was predeceased by his parents John Karakashian, Sr., and Rose Karakashian, and his deceased wife, Nicola Raimondo.

He is survived by his loving children: Anthony Karakashian and his wife, Jess, of Rochester, NY, Timothy “Ted” Karakashian and his wife, Donna, of Cinnaminson, John Karakashian and his wife, Patty, of Cinnaminson, Nicole Hutchinson and her husband, Steve, of Atco, NJ, Scott Karakashian and his fiancé, Stephanie, of Mount Laurel, and Allyse Hicks and her husband, Phil, of Marlton, NJ. He is also survived by his nine beloved grandchildren, and his former spouse of 25 years, Bonnie, of Marlton.

Cremation will be private.
