John S Steward

John S. Steward (“Jack”), 83, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Born in West Chester, PA, John moved to Little Egg Harbor 46 years ago. John worked as a sprinkler fitter and was a 59 year member of the Sprinkler Fitters Union Local 669. He was also a member of the Atlantic County Harley Club. He enjoyed collecting BB guns, cap pistols, wood carvings, and many other collectables. Bird watching, operating ham radio, and riding his Harley were some of his favorite hobbies. 

John was predeceased by his parents Harry and Elizabeth "Betty" Steward, and his two brothers William and Richard Steward.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Letitia “Tish” Steward, daughters Kristin Brenner and husband Scott of Allentown, PA, and Sammantha Dase and husband Tom of Galloway, NJ. Also surviving are his beloved grandchildren Jakob and Emily as well as his niece, Karen Steward-McNamara. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Popcorn Park Zoo or your local animal rescue in memory of John.
