Joseph Caccamo, 76, of Mystic Islands, NJ passed away on Thursday January 18, 2024 at Cooper Medical Center. He died peacefully surrounded by his loved ones.
Joe was born April 5, 1947 in Newark NJ and grew up in Hillside NJ. He then moved to Kingwood Township in Hunterdon County where he raised his family. He spent 40 years of his life working for Hillside Metal and Paper Company as a truck driver.
Joe met his wife Jean Tyranski when he was 17 years old and he spent the last 59 years by her side.
Joe was an avid boater and pretty much raised his kids on the water. He belonged to the Bristol Yacht Club in PA. for many years.
Joe is survived by his wife Jean; son Joseph Caccamo and wife Stephanie; son Richard Caccamo and Fiancé Irina; son Robert Caccamo and wife Joanna and the two other loves of his life his grandchildren Noah and McKenna.
He also leaves behind his sisters Mary DeDominick of Toms River and husband Mike and Marilyn Hughes of Raleigh NC and husband Jack.
Joe is predeceased by his parents Vito and Emelia and his brothers Richard and Phillip.
