Karen Smeden

Karen A. Smeden, 79 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Monday January 19, 2026. Karen was born in Teaneck, NJ and spent time living in Somerville, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor, NJ in 2003. Karen was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her husband and family as well crocheting.

Karen was predeceased by her parents and her son Richie.

She is survived by her loving husband Edward Smeden of 38 years and her son Kevin Muhlhahn of D.C.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday January 27,2026 at 11a.m. at St. Mary of the Pines, 100 Bishop Ln, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Cremation will be private.
