Margaret A Wetmore

Margaret “Maggie” A. Wetmore, 95 of Tuckerton, NJ passed away on Monday March 16, 2026. Margaret was born in Burlington, NJ and was a lifelong resident of Tuckerton, NJ. She graduated Co-Salutatorian from Tuckerton High School Class of 1948 and worked as a secretary for The Beacon for several years thereafter. Margaret married her childhood sweetheart Oscar “Buck” W. Wetmore in 1951 and lived in the same house, Buck and his father, Kemp, built for the rest of her life. A phenomenal homemaker, she loved to bake, read, and send birthday and special occasion cards.

Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband, sisters, Norma Downs and Doris Brooks, her parents’ Lillian and Norman Cramer, and her precious cats, Hilde, Maude, Sassie, and Poo.

She is survived by her loving daughter Rhonda Palmieri and husband John of Tuckerton, NJ, son Craig Wetmore of Tuckerton, NJ and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation will be private and an interment of ashes will take place in Greenwood cemetery next to her husband at a later date.
