Margarita Hartley

Margarita Hartley, 81 of Barnegat, NJ passed away on Saturday September 23, 2017 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Pomona.  Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico she lived in West Creek and Manahawkin before moving to Barnegat 14 years ago.  She worked as a Preschool Teacher for many years at Southern Ocean County Day Care in Parkertown, where she made many life long friends, then retiring so she be there for her great grandchildren. She loved traveling with her girlfriends and spending time with her family. If asked she would tell you that nothing makes her happier in this world then seeing the smiles of her great grandchildren, they always brightened her days. 
She is survived by her beloved husband Charles Hartley Sr. of Barnegat, sons Charles Hartley Jr. and wife Meg and Victor Hartley, daughter Jamie Thrunk-Pomaro and husband Peter, grandchildren Joseph Hartley, Scout Hartley and Starlett Hartley and great grandchildren Victoria Thrunk, Ian Pomaro and Isabella Pomaro.
She was predeceased by her son Robert Hartley in 2012.
Viewing hours will be held on Saturday September 30, 2017 from 2pm to 4pm with a Funeral Service beginning at 4pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
