Marjorie Myers

Marjorie Annette Myers, 96, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at Seacrest Nursing Home on Tuesday March 22, 2022 just two days shy of her 97th birthday. Marjorie was born in Chicago, IL on March 24, 1925 and spent time living in Woodbury, NJ, Pennsauken, NJ, Florida and Blairsville, GA before moving to Little Egg Harbor in 2014. She worked as an Office Manager for Frank "Les" Myers Plumbing and Heating and was a wonderful mother and homemaker. Marjorie was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Union County in Blairsville, GA. She also enjoyed reading, needlework, travelling and spending time with her family. 

Marjorie was predeceased by her parents James Albert and Lois Cardwell, husband Frank Lester Myers and brother Robert Cardwell. 

She is survived by her loving children Donald and wife Louise of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, Barbara Gibson and husband William of Medford, NJ and Susan Angley of California, seven grandchildren Frank, Will, Corey, Jennifer, Emily, Greta and Briana, seventeen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday March 26, 2022 from 12pm until her Funeral Service at 1pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Marjorie will be laid to rest with her husband in Georgia National Cemetery 1080 Scott Hudgens Dr. Canton, GA 30114 on Wednesday March 30, 2022 at 11am. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to First United Methodist Church of Union County at 938 Highway 515 Blairsville, GA 30512 in memory of Marjorie Myers.
