Mary "Pat" Currie

Mary ""Pat"" Currie, 77 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Monday January 19, 2015 at Seacrest Nursing Home, Little Egg Harbor. Born in Jersey City, NJ she lived in Rahway, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor 10 years ago. Mary attended St. Theresa Church in Little Egg Harbor and was a member and Queen of the Red Hats Society. She was very creative and enjoyed needlepoint, reading, cooking and doing puzzle books.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years George Currie, daughter Kathleen Currie of Cranford, NJ, sons George Currie III of Hickory, NC and Joseph Currie (Shelley) of Jackson, NJ, brothers Jay McAlear of Tafton, PA and Jack McAlear of Leonia, NJ, sister Kathy Dwyer of E. Brunswick, NJ and grandchildren Colleen Ferenchak and Katherine and Shannon Currie.
