Maureen Sigley

Maureen Sigley, 67 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022. Maureen was born and raised in Hillside, NJ and spent 25 years living in Kenilworth, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor in 2012. Maureen dedicated her career to the healthcare field, first working in numerous hospitals and then becoming a case manager. A former ballroom dancer, Maureen was studying for a second career in cosmetology and was an avid fan of horse racing.

Maureen was predeceased by her parents Kathleen (nee O’Kane) and Robert DeProspo as well as her dear brother Joseph DeProspo and sister Patricia DeProspo.

Maureen is survived by her husband, Justin McElligott, daughter Rachel Sigley-Cantalupo and her husband, Peter, son Robert Sigley, two sisters Roberta and Kathy, and beloved orange tabby, Jake.

Private services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your local animal shelter in her name.
