Michael Carson Casteel, 57 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Friday May 11, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Cooks County, IL, Michael spent time living in Pennsauken, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor in 2001. Michael formerly worked as a Truck Driver for APA Transport in Philadelphia, PA and currently worked as a Real Estate Broker Salesman for Remax at Barnegat Bay in Manahawkin, NJ. He enjoyed Golfing, Fishing, Skiing, Boating and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a hard worker who kept active and cared a lot about the environment.
Michael was predeceased by his father Renow Carson Casteel, mother Cecelia O'Keefe Roche, brother Edward Roche and sister Barbara Roche.
He is survived by his loving wife Michele of 37 years, daughter Amanda Casteel and fiancé Ryan O'Hara of Littleton, CO, son Michael Charles Casteel and fiancé Lisa Sanneli of Cherry Hill, NJ, Grandson Devin Casteel, brothers Patrick ""Hammer"" Roche and wife Judy and Brian Casteel, sisters Cecelia Roche and significant other Jim Whitehead, Marlene Fiorino and husband Robert and Elizabeth Casteel and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday May 16th, 2018 from 10am until his Funeral Service at 1pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Michael's honor to the Marine Mammal Stranding Center atwww.mmsc.org/ways-to-donate
