It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear Michelle Lynn Barron fondly referred to as “Schkelly” on July 30,2025 in Manahawkin, NJ, after a hard fought battle with kidney disease. She was surrounded by her loved ones who comforted her with prayers and stories filled with love and laughter.
She is pre deceased by her grandparents; Walter and Dorothy Freeman and William, and Ruth Barron.
She is survived by her loving parents Mark and Dorothy Barron, sisters Cheri Porcaro and Sandra Barron, her brother in law Justin Porcaro and her nieces and nephew Brooklyn, Noelle, Mark and Emelia Porcaro whom she adored with her whole heart. Many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends are left heartbroken because her presence was filled with contagious laughter and big feelings! Michelle was welcomed to the world on June 7,1977 to a family who adored her. She spent her youth growing up in Rainbow Lakes Community in Parsippany, New Jersey. Many friends and family members helped shape the experience of a near perfect childhood filled with beach parties swim team and winters on the ice. As a 1995 graduate of Parsippany Hills High School she was a brilliant well rounded student who participated in color guard and won a state championship. They performed at Giants Stadium and Disneyland. A very talented artist who enjoyed painting, sculpting and sketching portraits. She also loved wreaking harmless havoc with friends, but wouldn’t hesitate to be designated driver looking out for her sisters and friends. A kind hearted soul who grew her hair many times to be donated to locks of love in honor of loved ones gone too soon. Professionally, Michelle earned her associate’s degree at County College of Morris and furthered her education at Rutgers, New Brunswick,NJ. She entered into a career in hospitality including hotel management, accounting, front desk supervision, and housekeeping. Her presence was full of determination and confidence that would make any family proud. She’ll be forever remembered sweetly.
On August 13,2025 a funeral mass will be held at 11am arrive as early as 10am at Saint Teresa’s Catholic Church 450 Radio Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087 followed by a repast at Cuisine on the Green 261 Country Club Blvd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the American Kidney Fund or National Kidney Foundation
