Patrick McGinn, 80 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at Wedgewood Gardens Nursing Facility on Wednesday, February 19, 2020. Born in Shamokin, PA, Patrick spent time living in North Brunswick, NJ for 40 years and retired to Little Egg Harbor in 2005. Patrick was a Communicant of St. Mary’s Church in New Brunswick and St. Mary of the Pines Church in Manahawkin. Patrick proudly served our Nation in the United States Navy. He was a Welding Engineer for Ford Motor Company in Edison, NJ and also worked for Delco Battery in New Brunswick and Phelps Dodge in Dayton, NJ. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in New Brunswick and the MICA club in Little Egg Harbor. He was very proud of his Irish heritage and his family. In retirement, he enjoyed using his vast array of hand and power tools to repair items in his home and the homes of family and friends. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Patrick was predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Hannah (McCarthy) McGinn.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Angelina, sons Patrick McGinn and fiancé Kimberly Cox of Manalapan, NJ and Michael McGinn and wife Debbie of Clarksburg, NJ, brother Thomas McGinn and wife Catherine of Newark, DE, sister Helen (McGinn) Bosevich of Frackville, PA, grandchildren Patrick, Kaitlyn, Heather, and Liam and great-grandchildren Aubree, Caden and Siena Rose.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 26, 2020 from 5-9pm and Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 9:15-10:15am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 11am at St. Mary of the Pines Church 100 Bishop Way Manahawkin, NJ 08050.
