Peter Gioiello

Peter Gioiello, 63, of Tuckerton, NJ passed away on April 11, 2024. Born in Hoboken, NJ, Peter lived in Wayne, Totowa, Iselin, and Colonia before moving to Tuckerton full time in 2014. Peter was the Senior Vice President of Operations at Storage Post, Chairman of the Board of Directors of NY Self Storage, President of Tuckerton Beach Association, Chairman of Tuckerton Borough Land Use, a member of Tuckerton Borough Economic Development, a member of The Tuckerton Republican Club, and a member of the Tuckerton Methodist Church.  

Peter was predeceased by his parents, Pasquale and Angelina Gioiello.

He is survived by his eternal love, Renee Gioiello, cherished son Christopher Gioiello and wife Mariam of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, beloved daughter Rachel Leszega and husband Greg along with their three children, Lorenzo, Giovanni and Isabella of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, his mother-in-law, Joyce Burns, sister Anna Stiskin and Stewart, two nieces and their husbands, along with extended family and many friends who he viewed as family.

Peter married his highschool sweetheart and shared 40 years of marriage. Together, they made so many wonderful memories. Papa Pete’s purest joy in life was spending time with his loved ones - Sunday dinners were a must with his grandchildren and family. When not in a meeting or helping his community, he was playing with his grandchildren, cruising the bay in his pontoon boat or having a good cigar and scotch with friends.

Papa Pete will be remembered as the rock of his family and Tuckerton Beach.

Visitation will be held on Friday April 19, 2024 from 2-5pm at Maxwell Funeral Home, 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ. Cremation will be private.
