Raffaela Manfredo

Raffaela Manfredo, 89, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away peacefully with family and friends at home on Tuesday August 12, 2025. Raffaela was born in New York City, then spent her childhood living in Italy before returning to the U.S when she was 12. She lived in NYC and was a long-time resident of Maywood, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor in 2002.

Raffaela worked as a bank teller for Valley National Bank and was active in the Maywood Women’s Club and the Cub Scouts. She was a previous member of Our Lady Queen of Peace in Maywood and a devoted member of St. Theresa’s R.C. Church in Little Egg Harbor where she also sang in the church choir. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, drawing and being with family and friends.

Raffaela was predeceased by her husband, Robert Manfredo, parents, Joseph and Rosa Doria, her brother Nunzio Doria, his wife Gussie Doria, and her nephew Joseph Doria. She is survived by her loving children; Michael Manfredo and wife Joellen of Englewood, FL, John Manfredo and wife Kimberly of Wallington, NJ, Paul Manfredo of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, Peter Manfredo and wife Jeanine of Naples, FL, Rosellen Schussler and husband William Schussler of Old Bridge, NJ, nephew Anthony Doria and wife Dawn of Mahwah, NJ. Grandchildren; Mary and husband Jeffrey, Jessica and husband Stephen, Christpher and wife Jackie, Angela and significant other Ron Torre, Michelle, Melissa and husband Connor, Samantha, Erica, Bryan, Billy, Daniel and Matthew. Great-grandchildren; Madison, Jade, Rocco, Luca, Norma Gene, Roman and Dylan. Her dear cousin: Francine Mousallam and husband Eddie, along with many other cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday August 17th, 2025 from 3-5 and 7-9pm and on Monday August 18th, 2025 from 9:30-10:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd. Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday August 18th, 2025 at 11am at St. Theresa’s R.C. Church 450 Radio Rd. Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Mausoleum Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manhawkin, NJ.
