Ray Hollifield

Ray D. Hollifield, 82 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Friday February 6th, 2026. Ray was born in Erwin, TN and spent time living in Rahway, NJ and Metuchen, NJ before settling in Little Egg Harbor 7 years ago. Ray worked as an Auto Assemblyman for General Motors in Linden, NJ and he enjoyed fishing, vegetable gardening, watching TV and being with his family.

Ray was predeceased by his parents and his son Michael Hollifield.

He is survived by his loving wife Recedia Hollifield, sons Tim Hollifield of Little Egg Harbor, NJ and Tom Hollifield of Kissimmee, FL, brother Glen Hollifield and wife Shirley of Erwin, TN, grandchildren Lauren and Steven Hollifield, his favorite sister-in-law Robin Gargione of Toms River, NJ and many nieces and nephews.
