Rita Zellman

Rita Zellman, 81 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Monday November 24th, 2025. Rita was born in New Britain, CT and spent time living in Waretown, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor in 2000. Rita worked as a cashier for Shoprite in Forked River and was a member of St Theresa’s Church in Little Egg Harbor. She was an amazingly supportive grandmother who loved nothing more than spending time with her grandkids. She was always so proud of their accomplishments in sports, academics and life.

Rita was predeceased by her parents Andrew and Margaret Bazzoni and her beloved husband William in 2018.

Rita is survived by her loving children Patty McPhie and husband Jeff of Pottstown, PA and their children Amelia and Colter, Lisa Theriault and husband Bruce of West Hartford, CT and their children Noah and Avery and Thomas Zellman and wife Kristine of Tuckerton, NJ and their children Philip, Emily and Aiden. Also surviving are her stepchildren Steve Zellman and his son Matthew, Billy Zellman and wife Katrina and their children Andi and Jack and Kathy Rife and husband Jim and their sons Justin and Jake.

Cremation will be private, and a Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday December 2nd, 2025 at 11am at St. Theresa’s R.C. Church 450 Radio Rd. Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
