Robert A. Schultz (73)

Bob passed away unexpectedly on 9/20/22 following a brief illness. Born in Somerville, NJ in 1948, he was a lifelong resident of North Plainfield until his retirement to Little Egg Harbor in 2016. Bob’s career as an electrician spanned 45 years while working exclusively for Chambon Electric. Prior to that, he proudly served his country aboard the USS Coral Sea in the Pacific arena during the Vietnam War. While he saw no live combat, his stories kept us quite entertained.

Bob was a quiet, humble man who believed in hard work, kindness, and love for his family. As a dedicated father, he and his wife Linda passed those traits on to his children who he was very proud of and loved dearly.

In his retirement, Bob loved going to the beach on LBI, fishing on the waters in front of it, and grilling a good pork chop. His favorite sports team was the NY Giants who we will all be rooting for this year.

Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Linda (Boyko), and two adoring children, Linda Newmeyer (Charles) of Little Egg Harbor, NJ and Robert Schultz (Diana) of Hillsborough, NJ and numerous nieces and nephews.
