Rocco Compitello

Rocco Compitello, 91 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Tuesday June 30, 2020. Rocco was born and spent time living and working in Hoboken, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor, NJ 45 years ago. He retired as a coffee blender for Maxwell House Coffee in Hoboken, NJ and was a Communicant of St. Theresa’s R.C. Church in Little Egg Harbor. Rocco was a member of the Republican Club and on the Zoning Board both in Little Egg Harbor. He greatly enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

Rocco was predeceased by his parents Antonio and Justina Compitello and all of his siblings.

He is survived by his loving wife Angela of 68 years, children Rocco Compitello Jr. and wife Yvonne of Saddle Brook, NJ, Diane Della Fave and husband Albert of Normandy Beach, NJ, Laura Mutter of Santa Rosa Beach, FL and Peter Compitello and wife Sheila of Douglasville, GA, grandchildren Gina, Rocco, Joseph, Albert, Alyssa, Jonathan, Vanessa, Justin, PJ, Angela and Roman, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday July 3, 2020 from 9-10am with a Funeral Service at 10am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Mausoleum Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery 340 Ridge Rd North Arlington, NJ 07031 at 12:30pm. We are operating at 25% occupancy capacity as per NJ executive order. Staff will be there to assist. Please note that all visitors must wear a face mask inside the funeral home.
