Ronald Charles Sparaco

Ronald Charles Sparaco, 83 of Whiting, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday June 13th, 2025. Ronald, affectionately known as "Socko", “Unke” and “Grandpa” was born in New York City and moved to Barnegat, NJ in 1977.

Ronald was a dedicated car detailer and a skilled handyman who took great pride in working on projects around the house. He found peace in fishing and joy in the simple pleasures of everyday life. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his grandsons, especially watching them play soccer, baseball, basketball, and football. Whether on the sidelines or in the stands, he was always there, cheering them on with unwavering enthusiasm. He never missed a game or a moment to show his support. To them, he wasn’t just a fan; he was their greatest defender and an extraordinary Grandfather.

Ronald was predeceased by his beloved wife Patricia in 2007, after 40 years of marriage; his son Ronnie in 2013 and his brothers Joey and Lee Sparaco.

He is survived by his loving son, Michael Sparaco, of West Creek, NJ; his devoted grandsons, Michael and Jake Sparaco; and his daughter-in-law, Valerie Cregan, of Barnegat, NJ, all of whom loved him deeply and will carry his memory in their hearts.

Ronald was also blessed with a loving and supportive extended family, along with dear friends, whom he considered family, in New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 PM and 7:00–9:00 PM, and on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 10:00–11:00 AM at Maxwell Funeral Home, 160 Mathistown Road, Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.

A burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beachview Avenue, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.
