Ruth Anne Kummer

Ruth Anne Kummer, 83, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Thursday August 21,2025. Born in Jersy City, NJ, Ruth spent time living in Middletown, NJ, before moving to Little Egg Harbor in December of 2024. She enjoyed playing sudoku and bingo and watching the Game Show Network.

Ruth was predeceased by her parents George and Dorothy McVey, husband Walter Kummer in 2001, and sister Sharon Winters.

She is survived by her brother Charles “Charlie” McVey (Elaine), niece Shannon Anderson (Rusty), and nephews Shawn Winters (Tina Page), Harold Winters (Cynthia), Charles McVey (Amy) and Steven McVey (Lynn).

Cremation will be private. A burial of ashes will take place on a future date at Hillside Cemetery in Lyndhurst, NJ.
