Monahan, Thomas J, 79 – of Little Egg Harbor, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022. He was born in Camden, NJ and lived in Collingswood, NJ for 25 years before moving to Little Egg Harbor 38 years ago. Thomas enlisted in the US Navy, trained as a diesel mechanic and served on the USS Canberra during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was a patriot and honored those who served. He will be remembered for his compassion, love of fishing, tinkering with his cars and his infectious laugh. He was quick-witted, had a great sense of humor and was always ready to lend a hand to those in need.
He is survived by his loving son Greg Monahan, daughter-in-law Tina and grandchildren Nicholas, Bennett and Lucy. He is also survived by his sister Kathleen Aumendo, brother Frank Schillig and cousin Maureen Schuda.
He is predeceased by his loving wife, Audrey Monahan, his mother, Elizabeth Schillig and brother, Mike Schillig.
A memorial service will be held in the near future.
