Veronica Mary Shaffer

Veronica “Ronnie” Mary Shaffer (nee Archer), 81 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Saturday July 26th, 2025. Veronica was born in Philadelphia, PA, grew up in Haddon Heights, NJ and spent time living in Virginia and Long Beach Island before moving to Little Egg Harbor in 2002. Veronica attended Camden Catholic School and college in Glassboro where she received her teaching degree. She enjoyed teaching and was creative in how she was able to motivate her students in their leaning experience. Miss Archer was well liked by her students at Glenview Elementary School in Haddon Heights, NJ. As a parent, she was active in school groups at St. Rose of Lima RC in Haddon Heights, NJ as the head room mother for several years. Ronnie was a good tennis player involved in team tennis while in Haddon Heights, NJ and in McLean, VA. She enjoyed cooking and was often involved in groups supportive of humane treatment of animals. She was a past member of the Red Hats here in little Egg Harbor and she also enjoyed gardening.

Veronica was predeceased by her parents Robert and Mary Archer and her brother.

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Richard Shaffer, her son T.K. Gore and wife Shawn of Illinois and their children Campbell, Beckett and Sloane.

Cremation will be private.
