William R. “Billy” Beyer, 75 of Manahawkin, NJ passed away on Tuesday December 27, 2022.  Born in Orange, NJ he was raised in Nutley, NJ and lived in Little Egg Harbor, NJ for many years before moving to Manahawkin.  Bill was an accomplished, self-employed architect who spent 20+ years working in Atlantic City as an architect on projects such as the Taj Mahal, another 13 years as an architect with the State of New Jersey’s Health and Senior Services, and then continued his private practice as an architect until the end.  He proudly served in the US Navy and was a member of the Tuckerton Masonic Lodge#4 and the Manahawkin Elks.  He loved surfing with his buddies, spending time on the water, and could often be found sailing, fishing, SCUBA diving and snorkeling.  He enjoyed his yearly October poker games, hosting parties at his home, travelling to the Caribbean with his wife Barbara and his evening martini, Tito’s up with a twist.

Billy was predeceased by his parents George and Martha Beyer and daughter Ronye Anne Beyer Guiendon.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years Barbara Beyer.
