After the gathering, Donna will be escorted to her place of rest at Greenwood Cemetery, 683 N. Green Street, Tuckerton, New Jersey, 08087. As Donna’s family, we’d like to share with you a few memories we have of her and how she was to us:

Even though she was two minutes younger than her twin, Denise, she liked to take charge of any situation. She was not afraid to let you know who the boss was or how things were going to be. But just because she had this no-nonsense attitude doesn’t mean that she would not drop everything to be there for anyone (friend, family, stranger, or animal alike) if they needed her. She had kindness in her to try and help in any way that she could.

As a child, Donna was quite the girly-girl and would spin stories about growing up to buy fur coats, diamond rings, and having many, many children. She went to dancing school, enjoyed performing in her recitals, and was so gifted that she was asked to audition for The Nutcracker in New York City. Sadly, before her dream was realized, Donna was diagnosed with a serious medical condition. But being the ball of fire that she was, she held her chin high and endured all of the tests and took her medications as prescribed to the “T”.

This did not dissuade Donna. She excelled in school and went on to graduate the top of her class from Katherine Gibbs, continuing to use her learned professionalism to this very day. Her determination earned her a top spot at corporate Dunkin Donuts which she absolutely loved and she shined at.

Donna had many passions. She enjoyed fishing and how she was going to “fix this” (it didn’t matter what “it” was; she was going to fix it). Everyone wanted Donna to open up a restaurant once they tasted her spinach quiche. She also enjoyed listening to country music, line dancing, and going to Disney World. From her fine taste in designer clothing (she didn’t go anywhere without one of her Coach purses), cruising around in her Lincolns, to decorating her home and rooms with the best furniture she could find. She also refused to go out without having her hair, makeup, and nails done. Donna was always stylin’.

We’ll always remember her for how strong and unstoppable she was. How she always lived life to the fullest anytime she did something. Donna will never cease to be an inspiration to us all.
