Elizabeth Mary Childs (Beth) lost her battle with cancer on September 27th 2020 at home in Barnegat, NJ.
She was born October 23rd 1958 in Wabasha, MN to Harold Redding Childs, Sr. and Renee Elizabeth Childs. She grew up in South Jersey and attended Toms River High School South. She was confirmed at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Toms River, NJ.
Beth had several occupations through the years but her favorite and final career was as a truck driver. She always loved trucks and "TNT" loved her CB radio.
Beth was a dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She "adopted" so many friends into her family. Her family was everything to her. When her family or friends were in need for anything or any time, she was there to help. Her heart was enormous.
Beth loved so very many activities with her family and friends including shooting pool, amusement parks, camping, swimming, singing, motorcycles and countless others. Even after she became ill, she made every effort to have fun and enjoy her family. She was truly a treasure.
She is predeceased by her father, Harold Redding Childs, Sr., brother Harold Redding Childs, Jr. (Chuckie), son Thomas Mallory Childs, fiancé John Ashmore and her beloved dog Brandy.
She is survived by her mother Renee Elizabeth Childs, brothers James Michael Childs and Joseph Allen Childs (Karen Childs), children Charline Marie Childs (Aaron Bell), John Paul Childs (Kimberlee Childs), Michele Renee Evelyn Vogel (Robert Vogel), and Adam Thomas Childs (Christine Childs), grandchildren Anthony Bartholomew Paci, Jr. (Priscilla Ashley Paci), David Christopher Childs, Karlee Ann Childs, Austin Michael Childs, Jordan Gregory Childs, great-granddaughter Savannah Grace Paci and very many extended family members.
Visitation will be held on Saturday October 3, 2020 from 11am until her Funeral Service at 1pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd. Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Cremation will be private.
