Kenneth F Orr

Kenneth Felix Orr, 78 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he lived in West Virginia before moving to Little Egg Harbor. Ken had many different jobs throughout the years. He worked as a Lifeguard and a Letter Carrier for the Post Office when he was younger. He was a Chiropractor and an Environmental Health Specialist for the State of NJ. Ken proudly worked as an Environmental Protection Specialist for the US Coast Guard between 1991 and 2003. Kenneth was a faithful civil servant for 23 years. Post retirement, he worked at the Barnegat Lighthouse.

Ken enjoyed fishing, spending time on the beach, and swimming in the ocean. He also enjoyed working around the yard at his home. Most importantly, Kenneth loved spending time with his family.

Kenneth was predeceased by his beloved wife of 47 years, Linda Orr, in 2020. He is survived by his loving children: Anthony Orr and wife Basia of Brick, NJ, Jeffrey Orr and wife Nicki of Toms River, NJ, and Kenneth Orr and wife Caroline of Shepherdstown, WV. Ken also had five grandchildren: Josh, Lukas, Gabrielle, Madison, and Theodore. They will all miss him dearly.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday April 9, 2021 at 10am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
