Marilyn Gaeta, 95 of Barnegat, NJ passed away on Saturday February 15, 2020 at Barnegat Rehabilitation Center.  Born in Watertown, NY she lived in Staten Island, NY before moving to Barnegat 18 years ago.  Marilyn was very active in her church community.  She was a longtime member of Gateway Cathedral in Staten Island, where she served as a Biblical Counselor and Director of Women's Ministry, and in later years, a member of Bayside Chapel in Barnegat, NJ.  Marilyn was a caring and loving person who enjoyed cooking, playing the piano and singing hymns, winning a game of RummiKub or checkers, and spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her parents Rev. Ira and Leah Owen and husband John Gaeta, to whom she was married 55 years.  She is survived by her beloved children Lyn Mears of Barnegat, Gus Reinhold and wife Rose of Manahawkin and Tom Reinhold and wife Regina of Point Pleasant, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday February 20, 2020 from 2pm until her Funeral Service at 4pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home 573 Mill Creek Road Manahawkin, NJ 08050.  A private burial will take place at Brig Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Bayside Chapel Benevolent Fund Bayside Chapel 965 West Bay Avenue Barnegat, NJ 08005.
