Michael Halvorsen

Michael Halvorsen, 44 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Tuesday March 3, 2020.  Born in Red Bank, NJ he lived in Atlantic Highlands, NJ before moving to the Little Egg Harbor area 38 years ago.  Michael spent many years working as a commercial fisherman in Barnegat Light, Atlantic City and Point Pleasant.  He enjoyed working on boats, spending time on the water and working on cars and lifted trucks.  He was a member of the Sons of Norway Lodge Noreg 3-466 in Marlboro, NJ. 

Michael is survived by his daughter Kirsten Patricia Halvorsen, parents Michael and Patricia Ann Halvorsen and sisters Kerry Halvorsen (Thomas Maino) and Karin Patricia Bourguignon (Henry Jr.) and nieces, nephews, many loving family members and friends

Viewing hours will be held on Sunday March 8, 2020 from 2pm until the Funeral Service at 5:00pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
