Nancy Jean Bongiovanni

Nancy Jean Bongiovanni, born on February 19, 1950 to Calvin and Gloria Carlson, passed away on July 27, 2021. She is survived by her beloved husband Anthony Bongiovanni, daughter Leigh Katie Bongiovanni, granddaughter Summer Rain Torsiello. sister of Barbara Rebecca Carlson, sister Deborah Jill Gerstler and many nieces and nephews.

Born in Jersey City, Nancy graduated Henry Sydner High School in 1967. She graduated valedictorian of St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing School in 1970 and earned a bachelor’s degree in science from St. Francis College in 1980. Nancy went on to have a successful and fulfilling career in nursing, from the hospital to administrative work.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and vacationing in Jamaica, other Caribbean Islands and Disney World.
