Sharon Cash

Sharon Ann Cash, 61, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Monday May 10, 2021.  She was born in Trenton and grew up in New Egypt, NJ. Sharon was an aspiring young artist when a tragic automobile accident nearly took her life and left her a paraplegic with a traumatic brain injury in 1978. Sharon lived in convalescent and rehabilitation facilities, notably, Beechwood Rehabilitation Center in Langhorne, PA where she resided for 28 years until moving to a nursing home in Little Egg Harbor, NJ in 2019. Despite being confined to a wheelchair, Sharon participated in BeechTree , a social enterprise that employs people with brain injury, as well as people without disabilities, to work in a community-integrated business.  She had a love for horses, the beach and the mountains. Her infectious smile could light up any room.

Sharon was predeceased by her parents Joan Cox (nee Kingman, nee Bach) of Little Egg Harbor and William Cash of Kannapolis, NC.

She is survived by two sisters, Brenda LoCicero of Little Egg Harbor, NJ and Becky Kingman-Gros and husband Roger Gros of Boulder City, NV, nephews and nieces, Eric Gros, Shannon Gros, Jack Gros and Rose LoCicero and by long-time care-giver and friend, Margarite Thompson of Levittown, PA as well as many cousins and friends.
